Celebrity Cruises Ships

Elegance and luxury are by-words when it comes to the fleet of Celebrity Cruises Ships. The line has four different classes of ships: Millennium Class; Century Class; Xpedition Class and Solstice Class. A fifth class, Journey Class, was planned which would have operated two ships, Celebrity Journey and Celebrity Quest. At the last minute though it was decided to form a new cruise line called Azamara. The ships were transferred accordingly and they now sail under the names of Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest.

There are four Millennium Class ships: Celebrity Millennium, Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Constellation. These ships are characterised by their elegance, style and panache. Grandeur and opulence abounds with features such as grand foyers glass elevators and two-tier dining offering five-star cuisine.

Century Class ships are stunningly designed and very sophisticated. They are a mix of traditional and contemporary resulting in a wonderful cruise experience. Gourmet dining, relaxing spas and atmospheric bars are features. There are three ships in Century Class: Celebrity Century, Celebrity Galaxy and Celebrity Mercury.

Celebrity Cruises have one ship in their Xpedition Class, Celebrity Xpedition. A smaller and more intimate vessel, she sails the waters around the Galapagos Islands. She may be small but she really has that touch of class and luxury.

Debuting in the Caribbean in December 2008, Celebrity Solstice will be the inaugural ship in the new Solstice Class. The architecture and design is stunning and the 2,850 guests on board can expect style, indulgence, fabulous service and unparalled attention to detail. Two more ships, Celebrity Equinox and Celebrity Eclipse, are currently under construction and will join the fleet in the summer of 2009. A further two as yet unnamed ships are planned for the autumn of 2011 and 2012.

Celebrity cruise ships visit many destinations throughout the world including: Alaska; Bermuda; North America; the Caribbean; Europe; Hawaii; the Mexican Riviera; the Panama Canal; South America; Australia and New Zealand. Transatlantic crossings are also undertaken.
